Join us on September 24 from 12-6 PM at the ASD Education Center for an Orange Shirt Day screen-printing event!

Bring your own orange shirt and create a design to wear in recognition of Orange Shirt Day. We’ll provide the screen-printing designs, ink, and expertise-you bring the shirt!

Fa’afetai lava 🌴 Wendler Middle School

We are excited to share that we’ve already met with 4 of our 15 focus Anchorage School District partner campuses this week! A heartfelt thank you to Anchorage School District School Business Partnerships (SBP) Executive Director Colette Moring for her outstanding leadership and dedication in facilitating these introductory meetings.

Our journey began at Wendler Middle School, where we had a wonderful session with Principal Marcus Wilson, Mr. Leroy, and Ms. Sarah to develop and launch our upcoming pilot in-school programs and activities.

Together, Pasefika Roots Institute (Lead Instructional Partner) and the Native Samoan Corporation (Lead Community Partner) are committed to walking alongside Wendler Middle School to support student attendance, academic achievement, and cultural connection, building directly on baseline growth for a thriving 2026–2027 school year.

It takes a village, and the work has officially begun!
