The Anchorage Tribes of Tlingit & Haida Indians of Alaska (ATTHIA), is a community council of the Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, a federally recognized tribe. We, the Members of the Anchorage Tribes of the Tlingit
and Haida Indians of Alaska, in order to preserve our identity and culture as Indian People, advance our economic well-being, promote the dignity and the welfare of our members, and exercise all sovereign governmental powers as are inherent to the Tribes and other sovereign powers delegated to us by the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. Monthly Membership Meetings of the ATTHIA are held on the third Wednesday of every month via Zoom. To enroll with the Central Council or to update your enrollment or voting record (including address updates), please visit the Central Council website at www.ccthita.org. The Council strives to foster strong confident leaders of tomorrow with the hopes that we may better our future while recognizing and respecting our history. Delegate elections are held on even-numbered years on the third Thursday in March.
