While part of our department she simultaneously served as the Chair of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
Please plan on attending Dr. Dorough's lecture on "Indigenous Human Rights," for the Women's Legacy Lecture/William H. Seward Lecture, this Thursday, March 21st from 7:30 - 9 pm at UAA in Rasmussen Hall, Room 307. Not only is parking free but so is the lecture!
