Any crisis or contingency.

Success is built on the strength of our partnerships. During the 2026 Sitka Search and Rescue Exercise, the 210th Rescue Squadron showcased the precision and reach of the 176th Rescue Triad.

Our HH-60G Pave Hawk & HH-60W Jolly Green II crews are a critical pillar of Alaska’s search and rescue capability. We remain committed to working with our Coast Guard and local partners to ensure that when the mission matters most, the 176th is always ready.

Miss Alaska's visit to to the 176th Wing bridges the gap between our mission and the community we serve by highlighting the diverse paths of leadership found across our great state.

Her visit underscores a shared commitment to Alaskan excellence and reminds our neighbors that the 176th Wing and the Alaska National Guard aren't just a military force— we're an integral part of the Alaskan identity.
