🎉🎭 Happy 45th Birthday, Alaska Junior Theater! 🎭🎉
Today, we celebrate 45 incredible years of bringing the magic of live theater to Alaska's children and families.
Since 1981, Alaska Junior Theater has welcomed world-class professional performances from around the globe to inspire imagination, spark curiosity and create lifelong memories for generations of Alaskans. Through laughter, storytelling, music and wonder, we've introduced countless young people to the transformative power of the performing arts.
As we celebrate this milestone, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our founder, Lorrie Horning. Forty-five years ago, Lorrie had a vision to bring high-quality live theater experiences to Alaska's young people. Thanks to her passion, dedication and belief in the power of the arts, generations of children and families have had the opportunity to experience performances that educate, inspire and ignite imaginations.
None of this would have been possible without the support of our audiences, teachers, volunteers, sponsors, donors, board members, community partners and champions like Lorrie who helped build the foundation of Alaska Junior Theater. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us bring extraordinary theater experiences to children throughout Alaska for nearly half a century.
As we look ahead to our next chapter, we remain committed to creating the future of theatergoers and ensuring that Alaska's children continue to experience the wonder of live performance for generations to come.
