We all know someone who transitioned out of the military or graduated college and is wondering why there aren’t companies lining up to hire them. You don’t need a hookup to get hired. You need a solid resume. A concise resume free of jargon.

No one knows what that multinational training exercise means; save that for the interview. Nothing wrong with a free service online but anything is better than the resume you’ll leave with at the transition programs on base. They don’t have the experience or the training, they don’t interact with you 1 on 1, and they sure aren’t asking the right questions.

Does your resume give someone who didn’t write it a headache to look at? Did you let AI write the whole thing? Is your company, position, and year jammed into one space with no identifying features like bold or italicize to separate them? Does the whole thing follow one format? Are there key words for that position for the applicant tracking systems (ATS) to pickup when they scan the resume?

These are all questions you need to be asking and more. Send me a message and I’ll take a look at your resume and tell you areas it needs to be improved. Then you can make the decision to hire me if you think $60-$120 is a worthy investment into your future.

Any past clients that follow my page, if you see my listings on a for sale page like JBER buy sell trade or anchorage for sale items, ETC; if you could comment letting everyone know how beneficial the service was and your general experience that would be much appreciated.

I’m still getting messages of people who think the page is fake or a scam despite the reviews and I’m working on reinventing my page so it looks more legit.

You have to ask yourself if $60-$120 is a worthy enough investment to get noticed by an employer and land that interview that may ultimately pay you significantly more than your current position/job.

It’s official I have an open schedule for resume consults! I've helped 12 customers this year update their resumes with some reporting back to me they were hired for the position they were applying. Some were federal resumes but they do take longer. The $60 - $120 was worth it to them.

Remember even if you have a job you should always be updating your resume and applying for new positions; if not for being hired then to leverage your current company to give you a raise or promotion.
