Today we said goodbye to Jill, Serve Alaska’s long time grants administrator. She has been our federal grants management, fiscal, and technical assistance guru for years and has always brought such joy and passion to the work. She will be greatly missed for all she has done to keep AmeriCorps operating in Alaska!

We just wrapped up our annual Commission strategic planning meeting and program director training. It was a great 2 days of planning and learning! Not pictured are the wonderful commissioners that attended virtually as well! We are grateful for the support and feedback from our volunteer Commissioners and the passion they have for service across Alaska!

Member Monday! This week, we're thrilled to spotlight Yolanda, who recently wrapped up her service with Alaska Afterschool Network.

Yolanda made a significant impact at the Boys and Girls Club, leading engaging STEM activities for kids. Her passion and creativity brought STEM to life, and the positive feedback from parents says it all.
