Nova Minerals is one of the companies working to explore critical minerals and precious metals adjacent to the West Susitna Access Road. The road would improve exploration logistics by making it safer, easier, and less expensive to work in the region. It would also attract new investors to mining projects along the road. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it would provide a means of ground transportation to support active mining to allow for efficient movement of staff, equipment, ore, and materials. It is unlikely that active mining operations could advance in the region without the West Susitna Access Road. Growing and diversifying natural resource development projects is important for economic growth and job creation in southcentral Alaska.
