Update on 10/4/2024:
On October 3, 2024, at 2:56 PM, Anchorage Police Dispatch received an anonymous tip that Miracle Sala had been sighted in the area of the 300-block of N. Lane Street. Officers were dispatched and later located Sala outside of an apartment complex in the area. When officers attempted to make contact with Sala, he fled on foot. Officers gave Sala commands to stop and K9 warnings, which he ignored, and continued to flee on foot from the scene. K9 Kevin was released and subsequently apprehended Sala. Officers took Sala into custody without further incident.
Miracle Sala was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the dog bite before being transported to APD Headquarters where he was interviewed by Detectives. Once the Detectives completed their interview, Sala was remanded to Anchorage Correctional Complex for his warrants of Assault 1 and Tampering with Physical Evidence, and additional charges of Resisting Arrest, and Misconduct Involving a Weapon 3.
None of the officers involved nor K9 Kevin were injured during the incident.

Police are still seeking Miracle Sala.
Two months ago, Anchorage Police released a statement regarding an assault that took place on July 19, 2024, in Davis Park located at 5081 Mountain View Drive. It had been determined the suspect is 27-year-old Miracle E. Sala. Detectives obtained a felony warrant for Sala for Assault in the First Degree. Sala is still outstanding.
Miracle Sala is 5’07” tall, 180 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo under his left eye. It is believed that Sala does not have a fixed address; he is known to hang out in the Mountain View and Fairview neighborhoods.
