Due to the inclement weather this week and for the safety of our athletes, as well as the condition of our field, we have relocated our scrimmage to Stallworth Stadium in Baytown, on Thursday August 18th.

The Junior Varsity will begin at 12:00 pm versus Evadale. The Varsity will begin at 1:00 pm versus Beaumont Kelly/Evadale (3 way scrimmage) The address for Stallworth Stadium is 2509 East Archer Road, Baytown, TX .

ATTENTION GRADUATING STUDENTS & PARENTS!

THE LOCATION OF THE 2016 ANAHUAC HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY HAS CHANGED FROM KYLE WHITE FIELD TO WHITE’S PARK (225 WHITE PARK RD., ANAHUAC, TX 77514) DUE TO THE THREAT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER. DATE AND TIME REMAIN THE SAME (JUNE 3 @ 7:30PM).

GRADUATION PRACTICE WILL BE HELD FRIDAY, JUNE 3 AT 9AM IN THE WHITE’S PARK ARENA. ALL GRADUATES ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND.

TWO AHS STUDENTS SIGN TO PLAY BASEBALL

Two of our senior baseball players will be continuing their playing career on the collegiate level. Savio Fontenot and Brett Cooley both signed on May 26th to play for Schreiner University in Kerrville Tx. It is very tough because college programs get around 10 full scholarships to divided out to roughly 35+ players. Less than three in 50, or about 5.6 percent, of high school senior boys interscholastic baseball players will go on to play men's baseball at a NCAA member institution. Both Savio and Brett received large academic scholarships as well. If you get a chance to see these guys at graduation or around town please congratulate them on a great accomplishment.
