EXTENDED BURN BAN:
Caddo county has extended the county burn ban by 1 week. The exception for Prescribed burns is not included in this weeks extension. Outdoor cutting/welding is allowed with special restrictions and outdoor cooking is allowed in a gas or charcoal enclosed grilling receptacle on a non-flammable surface 5 foot from vegetation.

The control burn was initiated at 11am and has concluded.

Crews will be conducting a control burn on the northeast side of town by western farmers this morning if you notice tsmoke in the area.

Crews are currently working a fire on the Southwest side of the airport. Progression is stopped at this time while crews continue to shore up control lines. We can’t thank our BIA partners enough for the helping hand.

We had a great morning of helping with the shop with a cop program this year. We met some great kids and loved the community buy in that makes this program possible for so many children.
