🧪 Science in Action!

Mrs. Sage's science classes recently explored chemical reactions through a hands-on slime investigation. By combining glue, borax, and baking soda, students observed how changes in the materials’ properties can result from a chemical reaction. Students also practiced making observations and asking questions.

Experiences like these turn abstract science concepts into meaningful, hands-on learning that students can see, feel, and investigate. 🧪✨

🧪📚 5th Grade Science with Mrs. Sage! 📚🧪

The challenge: 100 index cards to build the tallest tower!

Students worked together to design, measured, and problem-solve to build the tallest tower of index cards. One team even figured out that they could remove and re-stack their cards to gain more height. A few towers reached 42 inches, with the tallest tower reaching 45 inches!

What a fun way to practice science and build communication skills!! Way to go 5th Grade!
