Tomorrow is a BIG day at Because We Matter! We’re going LIVE for our fundraiser, and we hope you’ll spend part of the day with us, meet the animals, and help us reach our $15,000 goal!

We’re raising funds for 3 Causes. 1 Purpose.

Your support will help fund:

• Our sloth enclosure renovation, giving our sloths an upgraded space to explore and enjoy.

• 200 gift baskets for Seattle Children’s Hospital, bringing a little joy and comfort to kids and families.

• Our Keep Them Home Fund, helping families facing financial hardship with the resources they need to keep their beloved animals at home instead of surrendering them to a shelter or sanctuary.

And we have SO MUCH planned!

Throughout the fundraiser, we’ll have raffles, art auctions, special items, limited-edition merchandise, animal appearances, behind-the-scenes moments, and an all-day LIVE with the animals!

You’ll get to see the incredible animals your support helps us care for while learning more about the work happening every day at Because We Matter.

Every donation, raffle entry, purchase, share, and person who joins our LIVE helps.

Girl has been at our sanctuary for 16 years! She’s an old girl now and definitely starting to show some signs of her age, but there’s nothing quite like watching her give herself a cougar pedicure!
We absolutely love these incredible animals and feel so honored to care for them throughout every stage of their lives. Thank you so much for supporting us and allowing us to continue giving animals like Girl a safe place to call home.

Gus came to our sanctuary in 2026, and it has been such a joy getting to know this incredible lemur. He has so much personality and character packed into that little body! We are truly honored that we had the opportunity to rescue this handsome little man and give him a safe place to call home.
