South Toledo Bend State Park

South Toledo Bend State Park We have 19 cabins that accommodate 8 guests. There is a sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 guests. We have 55 campsites that each have a 20, 30, and 50 amp. breakers.

One bedroom has a queen sized bed that will accommodate 2 guests, the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds that accommodate 4 guests. Two of these sites, # 33 and # 54 are handicap accessible. There are 5 primitive sites, and one handicapped accessible, site #1, i that is handicap accessible, #1. The park also has a boat launch, fishing piers, floating docks, comfort station/laundry room, 2 pla

ygrounds, and a beach area. A Visitor Center overlooks the lake and a meeting room shares the breezeway. The meeting room rents for wedding, reunions and get togethers. It comes with tables and chairs to accommodate 60 guests. It has a refrigerator, cooking stove, and counter tops to prepare and serve food. We have hiking trails and paved walking trails as well. Our beautiful park hosts Bald Eagles and their families, seen in and around the park .

Cardholders in all 68 Louisiana public library systems can now reserve a free pass to any of our 21 amazing parks across Louisiana, as well as our 14 state historic sites. You can also check out one of our "Geaux Explore" backpacks, which includes supplies like a compass, binoculars, and more to help you explore the natural beauty of our great state.

This year, the Office of State Parks is inviting professional and amateur photographers alike to submit photos for the 2027 Louisiana State Parks calender! Each year, this calendar aims to capture the diverse natural beauty of our great state. This year, we hope to share your stories and inspire everyone to get out and explore! 🌲 🌷 🐿️

The grand prize winner's photo will be featured on the cover of the calendar, and they will recieve a $1,000 Louisiana State Parks gift card. Twelve additional winners will be featured, and will recieve a $250 Louisiana State Parks gift card.
