It is with great excitement that the City of Amsterdam and Amsterdam Municipal Golf
Course announce the hiring of PGA Professional, Jeff Betti. Jeff achieved his Class A PGA
Membership in 2014. His most recent experience has been at Orchard Creek Golf Course
where he served as the PGA Head Golf Professional for the past five seasons.

Prior to Orchard Creek, he was an Assistant Golf Professional at Albany Country Club for seven seasons. Jeff, is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Arizona State University. Jeff brings extensive experience in tournament and golf league management, golf cart GPS fleet management, golf developmental programs including PGA Hope and PGA Junior League, and ForeUp software utilization. He is Trackman Level 2 certified as well as a U.S. Kids Golf certified coach. Jeff, will join PGA Consultant, Scott Warren, as full time seasonal managers of the Golf Operations at Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course.

Thank you, everyone, for a great 2022 season! This Sunday, November 13, will be the official end of the golf season at Amsterdam Municipal.

Beginning on Monday, November 14 we will transition to temporary greens. Play to temporary greens will be permitted on holes # 1,2,3,10,11,12,13,14,17,18. Please stay off of the greens, and please stay off of the tee boxes. Riding golf carts are NOT permitted on the golf course after Sunday, November 13. If you are planning to pick your golf cart up for the winter, please do so before the close of business on Sunday, November 13. If you have golf clubs in club storage, please pick them up before the close of business on Sunday, November 13.

The membership rates and promotions for 2023 season will be finalized and communicated in the near future. If you know someone that is interested in joining as a new member for the 2023 golf season, please have them contact Scott Warren at [email protected].
