Ibero-American Action League - Centro Civico

Ibero-American Action League - Centro Civico Founded in 1986, Centro Civico began as a Latino nonprofit organization in Amsterdam, NY, and has since branched out into Albany and the surrounding region.

In 2020, the agency merged with Ibero and is continuing to expand to meet growing demand. Ibero, a dual language multi-service agency that uplifts, empowers, and advocates for Latinos and underserved to achieve equity and become fully valued community members.

Hispanic Heritage Month is coming soon! From September 15 through October 15, we celebrate the rich cultures, traditions and contributions of our Hispanic community. Let’s circle the wagons and come together. To all our Hispanic and Latino organizations, community groups, businesses, and leaders, this is our time to connect, support one another and celebrate all the things that make our community special. And as we celebrate, we also want to remind our community that Centro Cívico, a division of Ibero, is here to help connect individuals and families with available resources and services. Depending on eligibility these may include assistance with housing, food, transportation, mental health, and other support services. If you or someone you know could benefit from these resources, we’re here to help. Let’s work together and make this a Hispanic Heritage Month to remember.🇵🇷🇺🇸🇨🇺🇮🇹🌮🥙🙂🙌🏽

He enjoyed meeting many of you on his last visit, and looks forward to getting to know even more of you and building stronger relationships.
