As we prepare for our upcoming Family Pride event, we want to extend our sincere gratitude to the amazing local organizations and community members who have generously supported our efforts.
A huge thank you to Price Chopper Supermarkets for their $25 donation, Walmart. Amsterdam New York for their $25 donation, and Dollar Treefor donating several boxes of much-needed items. Your generosity helps us create a fun, welcoming, and memorable event for families in our community.

We want to give an extra special shoutout to Lashawn Hawkins, who has supported this event for the second year in a row! This year, Lashawn generously donated several toy prizes for both boys and girls, as well as a variety of food items for our agency. Your continued commitment, kindness, and willingness to give back make a tremendous difference, and we are so grateful for your support.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Amsterdam, Mayor Michael Cinquanti, and the Common Council for raising the Pride flag at City Hall and officially recognizing June 2026 as LGBTQI+ Pride Month.

This meaningful gesture sends a powerful message of inclusion, respect, and support for LGBTQI+ individuals and families throughout our community. By honoring Pride Month and affirming a commitment to equality and dignity for all, the City of Amsterdam continues to demonstrate that everyone deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated.
