Our flag does not fly simply because the wind moves it—it flies because of the courage, dedication, and last breath of every soldier who gave their life protecting this nation. Their sacrifice is woven into every star and stripe, reminding us that freedom is never free. As we gather with family and friends, let us remember the heroes who never made it home and carry their legacy in our hearts forever. 🇺🇸❤️

Join us for an important conversation about the future of our community!

The Monroe County Community of Excellence (COE) Forum will bring together community members to collaborate on ideas and projects that can help strengthen and grow Monroe County.

This forum is led by The Commission (CREATE Foundation’s leadership arm) in partnership with TVA, ARC, the University of Mississippi, and Mississippi State University. Local collaborators include the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, Amory and Aberdeen Main Street Associations, BEACON, and South Monroe Community Affiliates.
