It’s been a long year wait but today Chief Norm Arthur, Assistant Chief Ron Arthur and Lieutenant Zach Rugg went to 4 Guys to bring home our new Tanker 34! Thank you to Ron at Flashover Fire Apparatus and 4 Guys Fire Trucks! We love it!

All of Amwell Township trick or treating will be same as usual this year. Halloween night October 31st from 6-730. Please be cautious and watch areas that have kiddos out.

Another sad day for your Amwell Volunteers. We would like to send our prayers and condolences to the family of life member Mike Dawson. Mike was active with us for 30 years, holding the position of Fire Police Captain. He loved what he did and always kept us safe when working on the roadways. Thank you Mike for all the years of service. Watch over over us and keep us safe as we continue.

The volunteers from Amwell would like to send our sincere prayers and condolences to the Heckman family on the passing of life member Dan Heckman. Dan held many positions in the department over his time of service with us, as well as a handyman around the station when needed. He will be truly missed by all, and thank you for your years of service. All funeral arrangements will be private for family only. But all prayers are welcomed.

On a good note this evening we would like to congratulate Mike Manzo on his retirement and move to Florida! It was great working with you all these years side by side. Best of luck in the future to you and the Mrs!

Today we celebrate a great man on his retirement .He has taught many young men and women how to be safe on calls . This man is a mentor and a man we all are glad to call family. Best wishes on the next steps with you and your wife. Mike Manzo and Sue Firestine Manzo thank you for all you have done for this fire dept and the other companies we run with.

Tonight our members are with heavy hearts. Our great friends and neighbors at Lone Pine VFD lost a great man, mentor, friend, and fireman. Life member Ray McVay unexpectedly past away today. Ray was a huge asset to Amwell Twp. For many years and will be missed greatly by members from station 34. Prayers to Chief Chaz McVay and the family.

Two more birthday drive by today!!!! More than glad to help out and do this for the kids in the Township! With Covid-19 not allowing kids to have parties, this gives them a little of a surprise to get!! We will continue to do them until Covid is clear and kids can have a party to celebrate! The last picture is the little boy’s birthday in the blue coat, and if you could have seen the excitement as soon as he saw us it was all worth the drive!!!!! Happy Birthday buddy!!! Thank you to our neighbors Station 50 and PSP!
