S.A.F.E. What is Domestic Violence. Join us on Tuesday Sept. 8 at 4:30 pm in our Independence Branch for the Four-Week Community Education Series for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The purpose of the series is to equip community members (ages 13+) with the knowledge and confidence to recognize domestic violence, build healthy relationships, safely support survivors, and become active participants in preventing abuse within their communities. Our KickstART Program is designed for children 0 - 6 years old which explores sensory and process-based art activities that encourages creativity, curiosity and fun. We will meet in our Independence Branch on Wednesday, Sept. 16 and Sept. 30 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. This is a free program and all materials are included. Come out and enjoy this special program.

Side Quest Crew is a club at our Independence Branch that encourages creativity and exploration in a variety of STEAM topics. This is a hands-on program on Thursday, Sept. 17 and Oct. 1 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm is geared towards ages 7-17. Sessions last for two meetings, with each session exploring a new topic. This approach allows attendees the time to try, fail, and repeat. While consistent attendance is strongly encouraged, drop-ins are always welcome.
