Another Successful Equine 101 at the Florida Parishes Arena!
We had approximately 40 participants and join us for our latest Equine 101: Goat Tying Basics class. From tying dummies to live goats and the horse saver, participants had the opportunity to learn firsthand from experienced instructors that goat tying takes plenty of skill, practice, and determination!
Thank you to our instructors Jake Porter, Michael Charles Passman, Tate Joiner, Allie Currier, and Tinley Joiner, along with Sean Porter, Danny Alborada, Mike Passman, Andy Currier, and Tige Joiner, for helping make this event a success.
A special thank you goes to David Watson, whose vision created the Equine 101 program. Through his continued volunteer efforts on behalf of the Florida Parishes Arena, David brings together talented instructors, business sponsors, and community members to provide educational opportunities that preserve and promote the Western lifestyle for the next generation.
We would also like to thank Barbara Watson for the blueberry crunch, ice cream, devotional, and hospitality that helped make the evening even more enjoyable.
