Thursdays, June 4th, 11th, and 25th

Jones Library Kids Room, 101 University Drive

Join members of the Kids Room staff for a selection of stories at our weekly Thursday morning storytime in our temporary space on the ground floor at 101 University Drive. Caregivers and their little ones are invited to listen to stories, learn songs, and check out books! This program is recommended for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

*Please note: there will be no storytime on June 18th

Kids Summer Reading Kick-off with The Nields! 🎶🌞📚

Come register for Summer Reading and rock out with The Nields!

Join us for a musical morning with the and enjoy folk tunes for the whole family! This local duo is known and loved for their soaring harmonies and engaging performances. The Nields’ family shows include group songs, reconstructions of old classics, plus their own inimitable style of high energy, whimsy, and filigreed harmony singing.

The Nields will be performing from 10:30-11:15am and library staff will be available after the performance to help readers of all ages register for our Summer Reading Program!

Note: parking is available next door to the Munson Library at the South Amherst Congregational Church.

Summer Reading is Almost Here! 🌞📚🌱

Our Summer Reading Program for kids, teens, and adults will begin on Saturday, June 20th! We will celebrate our kick-off event at the Munson Memorial Library Hall, featuring a music performance with followed by time to register for our Summer Reading challenge.

Can’t make it to our kick-off on June 20th? No problem! You can register at the Jones, Munson, and North Amherst Libraries and pick up your Summer Reading packet any time after June 20th.

Our next 📖Graphic Novel Book Club📖 meeting will be on Tuesday, May 19th, from 4-5pm at the temporary Jones Library location (101 University Drive)!

We’ll be discussing the book “Mexikid” by Pedro Martín, and doing an art activity inspired by the story.
