Looking for a fun, hands-on activity to unleash your child’s imagination? We have spots still available for our upcoming Crafty Creations program!
Designed for kids ages 5-10, each weekly session explores a variety of exciting art projects using different materials.

🎨 The Town of Amherst Youth & Recreation Department is hosting Adaptive Recreation sessions specifically designed for individuals with disabilities and special needs ages 10 to 17!
Participants are welcome to join and try new arts and crafts, get active in the gym, or just socialize in an inclusive environment.
Program begins Wednesday September 16 and runs to October 21 from 4:30pm – 6:00pm at the Northwest Amherst Community Center, 220 Northpointe Pkwy., Amherst, NY – Enter Door B. Cost is only $5 per session.
It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, and have a blast!

The Amherst Youth & Recreation Department is excited to bring back Homeschool Games this fall! This program is designed exclusively for homeschool students to stay active, build teamwork, and socialize in a supportive, high-energy environment. From gym games to sports and group activities, all skill levels are welcome!

Ages 5–9: Tuesdays, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM | Sept. 15 – Dec. 8 (No program 11/3)
