To UMass Democrats club members, alumni, and students from other colleges, we ask you to please sign the letter to Massachusetts State Leaders on the attached google document. This letter, written by students, is asking the state government to please provide emergency financial assistance for higher education institutions. Universities and colleges are trying their best to accommodate everyone but they can only do that with the appropriate funding!

Hi all, you may have seen our previous post detailing how UMass students may receive financial support during this tough transition.

If you (current student, alumni, family member, or community member) are able to, we ask that you please donate to this Go Fund Me. The funds received will go directly to students who have been effected by the current crisis. Many first generation, low income students have been extremely impacted in the last few weeks, and any amount is appreciated so we can help every UMass student feel safe and financially comfortable.

Today is the LAST day to register to vote in order to be able to vote in the upcoming Massachusetts Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 3!

Confirm your voter registration status even if you think you are registered. Check in with your family and friends and encourage them to do the same. This election is too important. Let your voice be heard!

The facts are clear: The President abused his power to get a foreign country to investigate a political opponent and he should be removed from office for it. While we disagree with him on most issues, Senator Romney should be commended for putting country over party and respecting the rule of law, unlike every single one of his fellow Republican Senators. History will not look kindly on those who stood bye and refused to convict this president.
