On July 29, 2023, held the Relief and Appointment ceremony where Sergeant Major Juan Gavilanes, relinquished his position as Recruiting Station Springfield Sergeant Major, to Sergeant Major Michael Perrault.

OST Amherst participated as a guest lecturer for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at Western New England University, providing subject matter expertise on military culture, to include OT provider engagement with the community, health seeking behavior of service members and veterans.
