The Eggertsville Hose Company is a proud 100% volunteer fire department serving the Western New York community of Eggertsville in Amherst just outside of Buffalo for over 100 years. We have been answering the "CALL" since our original formation in 1906 and later incorporation in 1908. We are dispatched by Amherst Fire Control via local frequency 425.400. This FB page is not monitored 24/7, however it is checked daily. For Non-Emergency's please call 716-689-1212 (Amherst Fire Control)

🔹🔷5 new recruits join the EHC🔷🔹

On Tuesday September 8th the Eggertsville Hose Company welcomed five (5) new Probationary Members, who will begin their training to become qualified Firefighters / First Responders.

Please help us welcome the following individuals:

During their first year they will gain experience in:
📚 In-House Fire / EMS qualifications
🔥 Fire Training (NYS BEFO and IFO)
🚑 Emergency Medical Training / NYS EMT-B
🚒 First Response to Motor Vehicle Emergencies
🤝 Community service / outreach

Almost 3.5 inches of rain fell within two hours last night, causing major flooding of most Eggertsville neighborhoods.

Eggertsville Firefighters answered numerous assistance requests throughout the evening including electrical issues, stranded motorists, and roadway/traffic management.
