With SNAP funding not being available in November due to the government shut down, we know many of our residents, friends and neighbors may face additional food security issues.

Our food pantry currently has open delivery slots available, please contact us at 978 346 9549 if you are in need. We also can help guide you to more resource options such as area free weekly community meals and other pantry options (also listed below).

NEET is very grateful to the Breakfast Exchange Club of Greater Haverhill, for your generous donation, and for your ongoing commitment to support NEET’s superheroes, our volunteers!!!

We are humbled by your generosity and dedication to older adults in the greater Haverhill area!!!

During our club meeting yesterday, we cheerfully handed over our annual donation to NEET! It's not just a drop in the bucket; our contribution joins forces with others to unlock a matching grant. In case NEET is a new name to you, here's the lowdown:

Northern Essex Elder Transport (NEET) is like the superhero of volunteer driver programs, swooping in to assist older adults in 13 communities of the Merrimack Valley. Their volunteer drivers offer the deluxe service – curb-to-curb, non-lift transportation to local and out-of-town medical appointments when other options are as elusive as a four-leaf clover. To hop on this magical ride, you must be 60 or older and possess the power to self-transport into and out of the volunteer driver vehicle.
