Big smiles at Cashman Elementary School this morning! A few of our club members were thrilled to stop by the school this morning to drop off a haul of new playground gear, including jump ropes, hula hoops, sidewalk chalk, assorted sports balls… and even more items will be arriving later this week!

Recently, Kiwanis member Kyle and his daughter noticed that recess equipment at CES could use a little extra support to keep the kids active and engaged. Thanks to Kyle and Emily for speaking up! Their observation reminds us all that being mindful of our community’s needs can make a big difference.

A huge thank you to Principal Mitchell and Mrs. Ripley’s class for helping us get it unloaded and organized in the brand-new storage shed that Mrs. Hoyt and Mrs. Woodbury recently secured through grant funding, it’s the perfect home for these new supplies. We look forward to continuing this momentum by starting an annual drive for items to support our local students during their recess time. Stay tuned for more details!

This weekend 5 members of our club were thrilled to attend the New England & Bermuda District of Kiwanis Spring Fling Conference in Sturbridge MA. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Kiwanians from across our district who share the same passion for service that we do.

Club members attended workshops on everything from leadership to service and are looking forward to implementing the lessons learned in our club and Amesbury community.

A huge shout-out to the incredible team at The Amesbury Ice Volunteers!

A few of our club members stopped by the rink during today's Amesbury Chamber of Commerce Winterfest community skate, and we were blown away by the energy. It was wonderful to see so many neighbors gathered together, enjoying the fresh air and the ice.

We want to extend a huge thank you to the volunteers who have poured their time, sweat, and dedication into bringing this rink to life. Your hard work has created a magical space for our community to gather.

To everyone who made this possible, especially Dan, Sal and all of the volunteers & donors, you’ve given our town something truly special! We look forward to continuing to support your efforts.

Come by our office at 19 Elm St, Amesbury to drop off your donations of winter gear now through February 28th.

Every item donated stays right here in our community to help children and adults stay safe and warm this season. We are looking for new or gently used winter essentials, including:
• Coats & Jackets
• Gloves & Mittens
• Scarves & Hats
• Snow Pants & Boots

As the temperatures drop, many local families are in need of warm gear. We are looking for donations of new or gently used winter essentials, including:
• Coats & Jackets
• Gloves & Mittens
• Scarves & Hats
• Snow Pants & Boots

You can find our collection bins at the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Aluxety now through the end of February!

Every item donated stays right here in our community to help children and adults stay safe and warm this season. Thank you for helping us serve our community!

Happy new year! We want to thank our fellow Kiwanians, neighbors, local businesses, and volunteers who have supported us over the last twelve months. Coming in to 2026, our goals remain the same; identifying where we can help our community and showing up to provide support. We have a full calendar of service planned for the coming year and would love to welcome more club members. Cheers to 2026!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night's Installation of Officers and Induction of one of our newest members, Amy Bogert! It was a truly fantastic evening for our club.

We were so happy to host our friends from the Danvers Kiwanis Club, Beverly, and Wilmington Clubs for this wonderful interclub event. A special thank you goes out to our very own Lieutenant Governor of Division 8, Dan Bennett, for joining us and conducting the installation ceremony.
It was a great honor to visit with friends from numerous other clubs and to be joined by three esteemed Past District Governors. Your presence made the evening incredibly special.

To all our members, our newly installed officers, our new inductee, and our visiting guests: thank you for your dedication, fellowship, and continued commitment and service to our communities. We are already looking forward to a successful year ahead!

What a fantastic morning at Lake Gardner for our second annual Kiwanis Kids Fishing Derby! We loved spending the morning with so many wonderful local families who came out to cast a line.

A huge congratulations to all the winners! We awarded trophies for the biggest fish, the smallest fish, and the most interesting catch.

A special thank you to Ovedia Artisan Chocolates for generously donating coffee and hot chocolate, and for the awesome fish balloons from For The Party Co. that added to the fun. We appreciate your support.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us. We're already looking forward to next year's derby!
