ππ The Great ACES Teacher Inflatable Race! ππ
As we reflect back on some of our end of the year activities, Mrs. Wilburn made a deal with her fourth graders: if they worked hard, stayed focused, and did their best on their SOLs, they would get to witness a teacher inflatable race!
Well, the students held up their end of the bargain, so it was time for the main event! πββοΈπ¨
On one side stood the determined Wilburn Axolotl π¦, proudly representing Fourth Grade. On the other was Kindergarten's Mrs. Harris as the Harris Parrot π¦, who always is willing to jump in and support all of our students.
The race was close... well, sort of! π The Parrot tried her best, but those wings just wouldn't cooperate. Between waddling, bouncing, and attempting to take flight, Mrs. Harris quickly discovered that inflatable parrots are not built for speed. Meanwhile, the Axolotl stayed focused and crossed the finish line first! π
Congratulations to Mrs. Wilburn and her victorious Axolotl! More importantly, congratulations to our students for working hard, giving their best effort, and earning this fun celebration. We are so proud of all of you! Who knows maybe next year, we will go even bigger! π§‘π
