Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the countless men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on one of our nation’s darkest days.

May we never forget those we lost, those who served, and those who continue to carry the weight of that day.

🎓 Two more RDAP groups DONE!

And when we say done, we don’t mean they sat in a chair, checked a box, and collected a certificate.

RDAP requires work—real work. Taking a hard look at criminal thinking, owning decisions, learning better ways to handle life, and figuring out how to keep moving forward when nobody is standing there telling you what to do.

These two groups did exactly that, and today we get to celebrate them. 👏

We’re proud of the graduates, proud of the staff who push them when they need pushing, and proud of a program that believes accountability and second chances can exist in the same sentence.

The certificate looks nice. What they do with it from here matters a whole lot more.

Congratulations, gentlemen. Now go prove it. 💪

One team. One goal. A different direction.

These men recently completed the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) at BJCC.

The hands in the middle represent more than finishing a class. They represent months of showing up, being accountable, challenging old ways of thinking, supporting one another, and doing the work required to change.

Completion doesn't mean the work is over. In many ways, it means the real work is just beginning.

What happens next is up to them.

Congratulations to our newest RDAP graduates. Take what you've learned and make it count.

A huge THANK YOU to the crews from Enid Community Corrections Center and the City of Alva PPWP Crew for lending a hand this week!

These crews worked side by side to load and unload some very special Christmas decorations that will be making their debut in Alva this holiday season. 🎄✨

Community partnerships like these remind us what can be accomplished when everyone pitches in. Your hard work behind the scenes is helping create something that will bring joy to our community for years to come.

Around here, we believe in second chances—for people, partnerships, and even a few tangled strings of Christmas lights. ✨
