Hey folks! This event JUST popped up on this week's to do list!

Join us this Wednesday for a special luncheon featuring guest speaker Zak Shirley, Director of Maryland's Medicaid Fraud and Vulnerable Victims Unit, as he shares valuable insight on protecting our loved ones from fraud and exploitation. The event will be held at the Woods County Senior Citizens Center in Alva. Bring your parents, your friends, and anyone who cares about staying safe -this is one conversation you won't want to miss! Be sure to call the day ahead by 2:00 to let them know if you'll be joining for lunch so they can make sure to have enough!

We are in need of two strong volunteers to get 24 Food boxes from the Food Bank every other month for our senior food bank program. 💛

Celebrating the 4th of July is great and we all enjoyed it in our own ways.
Not good and making us unhappy, disappointed and angry is leaving your trash behind on our property and throwing your still burning firework trash in our trash can so everything in it burned. For who every was this you where more them lucky these didn’t cause more damage.
Our board and seniors would very much appreciate if you clean up the rest of your trash from your firework by Monday, July 6th, 6am!
