September is National Su***de Prevention Month.

For most of the country this is the month the conversation happens. For Mission 22 it is every day of the year.

But we are grateful for September. Because for thirty days more people are willing to say the word out loud. More families feel permission to talk about what they lost. More Veterans hear that asking for help is not the same as giving up.

If you have lost someone, we are carrying them with you this month.

If you are still fighting, we are in this with you. Not just in September.

For those we have lost. For those we are still fighting for.

If you or a Veteran you know is struggling, reach out. The Veterans Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day. Dial 988 then Press 1, or text 838255.

Last week's 2026 Spring Additional Duty First Sergeant Symposium. This 5-day symposium equipped Noncommissioned Officers and Senior Noncommissioned Officers with a deeper understanding of Air Force First Sergeant roles and responsibilities, while providing the critical tools needed to effectively serve as additional duty first sergeants across the force.

We were also honored to have Company Grade Officers in attendance. Their participation strengthens the partnership between enlisted and officer leadership teams, enhances communication at every level, and ensures our Airmen receive unified support, mentorship, and care throughout the mission.

A special thank you to all of our guest briefers, senior leaders, and our dedicated Executive Communications Team Airmen, Amn Moreno and Amn Rothenberger, and Proffer, A1C Williams, whose hard work helped make this symposium a tremendous success! 💎
