Our July Paws 2 Read guest Tia Mia has just been adopted, which puts our adoption rate of former Paws to Read guests from Central PA Humane Society back at 100%!

Our next PAWS to Read is on Saturday, September 12th from 10:30-11:30 AM: kids can meet an adoptable cat and read to them!

There are a few spots left for our next Paws 2 Read on August 20th!

This heartwarming program partners the library's youth room with the Central PA Humane Society to create a paw-some reading adventure. Kids practice reading aloud to furry friends, boosting their confidence and literacy skills while giving adoptable pets some much-needed love and attention.

It's a tail-wagging, page-turning experience for everyone involved!

We are very happy to report that our August Paws 2 Read Officer Friendly has already found his forever home!

Did you know that nearly all of our cat guests from Paws 2 Read have gone on to be adopted? July guest Tia Mia is still waiting for her forever home, but everyone else has found their family.

We love that this program helps kids build literacy skills AND puts a spotlight on adoptable cat friends. Everyone's a winner!

Big thanks to our friends at Central PA Humane Society for the opportunity to help shelter pets find new homes.

Sargent Friendly had fun playing at Bellwood Antis Public Library and Paws to Read today. He is available for adoption at Central PA Humane Society!

Tina and Casper had a fun time today at the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library for Paws To Read. The children just loved them.

They are two month old beagle mixed and are available for adoption Central PA Humane Society. Please stop by to visit them.
