Three Altoona Curve players stopped by the Community Living Center yesterday to spend time with our residents, bringing plenty of smiles and memorable moments. A huge thank‑you to Freedom Ride for providing baseballs and display cases so the players could autograph keepsakes for everyone. Your support made this visit extra special!

We’re excited to announce that our Veteran Experience Center Welcome Desk and Central Registration now feature newly opened My HealtheVet, Login.gov, and ID.me support stations.

These areas are fully equipped with both the technology and staff needed to assist Veterans with creating and troubleshooting a modern credential—whether Login.gov or ID.me—for My HealtheVet on VA.gov. This should make the entire process smoother and more accessible for everyone.

In addition, our Virtual Health Resource Center (Altoona Facility, 2nd Floor, Room 2B56) remains open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our team is always ready to help, providing support to ensure a smooth, easy, and stress-free experience no matter your comfort level with technology. For Veterans in rural communities, assistance is also available at any of our five CBOC locations with a Telehealth Clinical Technician. Veterans can stop by anytime for help, keeping in mind that walk-ins depend on technician availability and wait times may vary.

If anyone prefers to call, our Virtual Health Resource Center can be reached at 814-943-8164 ext. 14979. We’re committed to making every Veteran’s journey through VA services as seamless as possible.
