The residents at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg enjoyed getting crafty and making homemade bird feeders. It was a fun activity filled with creativity, conversation and plenty of smiles. We love finding meaningful ways to connect with nature and enjoy the simple joys of each season!

Now Enrolling: Pre-K Counts!
We are excited to announce that Growing Years Early Learning Center’s Pre-K Counts enrollment is enrolling for fall.

Come learn and grow with us during the 2026-2027 school year!

Residents at The Lutheran Home had fun making special goodies for shelter dogs waiting for their forever homes. The treats were distributed between the Central PA Humane Society , Centre County PAWS and Mending Hearts Animal Rescue.

A big thank-you to Bishop Shock for delivering the treats to Centre County Paws, where he volunteers.

What a wonderful way to share love, kindness, and tasty treats with our four-legged friends!

Monday was an incredible day on the course!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual golf outing. From the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and donors to everyone who helped behind the scenes, your support made the event a success and raised funds for ALSM’s benevolent care program.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the Fourth of July!

Our team members and residents came together at The Lutheran Home for a fun filled picnic, enjoying delicious food, sweet desserts, and fantastic live music. It was a day filled with laughter, great conversations, and wonderful memories shared with friends and neighbors.

What a Night for Team ALSM!

ALSM Team and Board of Trustees members and their guests came together for an evening of Altoona Curve Baseball, great food, laughter, and fireworks. Events like these remind us that while we work in different roles and locations, we are one team united by a shared mission of serving others.
