Yesterday we were so excited to honor two of our staff members who were recognized by ISBE! Mr. Howard was honored with an Award of Meritorious Service in the Early Career Educator category and Mrs. Lacy was honored with an Award of Special Recognition in the Educational Service Personnel category!

Thank you Mr. Howard and Mrs. Lacy for making every day at AHS a great day!

Redbirds! Don’t forget that tomorrow is an Early Dismissal Day!

Our district building and grounds team has done a fantastic job clearing and de-icing our campus to keep Redbirds safe. Even so, cold temperatures and lingering snow mean there may still be slick spots and snow piles around our nest.

Please use extra caution and show that Redbird patience during school drop-off and pick-up. Let’s look out for one another and keep our flock safe as we come and go!
