Today, we joined the Alvarez family at the Capt. Brandon Alvarez mural to celebrate and honor his life and legacy.

We are grateful to Ramiro and Tanya Alvarez for allowing us to share this special moment with them and for continuing to keep Brandon’s memory alive within our community.

Capt. Brandon Alvarez’s impact, dedication, and spirit will never be forgotten. It was a privilege to stand alongside his family, friends, and supporters as we reflected on the life of a remarkable young man.

We will always remember our Honorary Police Captain Alvarez. 💙🖤

🚔 This morning, Lt. Villalobos attended the Click It or Ticket Campaign Kick-Off in McAllen alongside law enforcement agencies from across the Rio Grande Valley.

The Alton Police Department remains committed to roadway safety and protecting our community. Wearing your seat belt is one of the simplest and most effective ways to save lives.

Last Thursday, Officer Ayala attended Career Day at R. Cantu Jr. High, where he had the opportunity to interact with students and answer questions about his role in law enforcement.

The Alton Police Department would like to thank Mission CISD for the invitation. We are always proud to engage with our youth and community as we continue building positive relationships through education, mentorship, and service.
