Our annual Memorial Day Weekend Boot Drive is this Saturday! Please be on the lookout for our volunteers at the intersections of both 274 and 73 (Shelton's Corner) and 274 and 167. We would greatly appreciate your support!

Please be extremely cautious.

Since our much needed rainfall recently, the burn ban for unincorporated Calhoun County has been lifted.

If you plan to burn, be sure to check conditions before starting, never leave any fire unattended, and have tools and water available to extinguish if necessary.

As a reminder, some burning, like large piles more than 8’ across and broadcast burning, require a permit from the Florida Forest Service.

It's almost Memorial Day weekend. That means you'll be seeing our volunteers at Shelton's Corner (intersection of 73 and 274) and at the intersection of 167 & 274 with our boots out collecting donations. This is an annual tradition across the country shared by many fire departments. As you are enjoying yourself, please be careful of volunteers and drop a few dollars into a firefighter's boot to .
