It’s fledgling season! Rescues are getting a lot of calls about “babies that need help” but the best thing you can do is leave them be! 🐥

These are so great for the critters, please consider buying one for your pool!

These are so great for the critters, please consider buying one for your pool!

💧Do you have a pool at home?💧
So far this year, we've seen 29 animals over 9 different species that have fallen into pools and been rescued— 20 of which have been within the last month. Some of the species we've seen have been Opossums, Marsh Rabbits, Eastern Cottontail Rabbits, Squirrels, and many birds. We are now selling "Frog Logs" at the front desk and at events to help give animals a chance to get out of pools safely, or at least rest for a moment before climbing out. Since baby season is in full swing, and many pools are being used more frequently, now is the perfect time to grab a Frog Log to both support FWH and help keep wildlife safe in your own backyards!💖

So many Raccoon families are separated this time of year….moms usually only stay in the area for a few weeks until the babies are more mobile and then they all move on….

Please try to co-exist or reach out for help before trapping 🙏

Please share any resources or tips you have to help your neighbors to co-exist with Raccoons 🦝
