Our Story

State-funded organizations often provide only the basic living and education requirements; many of the day to day living expenses go unmet. FRIENDS provides the children with clothing, shoes, school supplies and backpacks, tutoring, summer camp, eyeglasses, counseling and therapy, needs for education, medical and legal, birthday gifts, and Secret Santa gifts. We provide funding for the children and young adults to participate in sports, music/art and extracurricular activities. Our Bridge to Independence program supports the teens ageing out of Foster Care with financial assistance for educational needs, hygiene and household care packages , bus passes and other temporary assistance to help gain a foothold on living independently.
