Typical end of January thaw not coming... sub-zero temps coming back to visit over the next couple days AND the first Nor'easter of 2022 appears likely for this Saturday.... no need to panic but, but it would be prudent to ensure your gas tank is full, snowblower and generators are ready to go, all the usual stuff hard core Granite Staters are used to doing... stay alert to the weather forecasts as the weekend gets closer

In February, Brian Hughes was no longer available to continue as the Alstead OEM Director. The BoS appointed Steve Reynolds as the new Director.

Going forward a comprehensive review of equipment will be done and meetings with the appropriate Department Heads will occur to ensure that should the need arise, all agencies are fully prepared and ready to handle any situation we may encounter.
