The Worth Township Highway Department is pleased to offer branch pick-up once again. We know this service is of great benefit to the homeowners in Worth Township’s unincorporated neighborhoods. Please remember this program is for removing light pruning and trimming of trees, not tree removal. We will not pick up contractor generated brush as our equipment and crew workforce do not allow us the ability to do so.
Requirements:
• No piles larger than 4 ft. high by 8 ft. wide. Anything larger will be left behind, and you will be responsible for the removal by your waste management company.
• Branches are to be placed in the parkway and not on streets or in ditches, with cut ends facing the street. Do not place any branches on empty lots as this violates no dumping regulations.
• Keep branches as long as possible. Do not cut into pieces; diameters up to 6 inches will be accepted.
• No logs, evergreen clippings, or rotten wood will be picked up.
• Brush must be free of stumps, root balls, dirt, stones, metal, old wood, construction materials, and other trash.
• Leaves, twigs, clippings, grass cuttings, or vines should be put in yard bags to be picked up by your waste recycling company • THIS IS THE LAST BRANCH PICK UP
