Big Bend SWCD #227 is proud to recognize our local poster contest winners! Our 1st place poster won 3rd in Area II, which encompasses counties from El Paso to Andrews and as far East as Blanco. Congratulations to all!

Alpine Elementary fourth grade students participated in the
46th Texas Conservation Poster Contest.
The theme was"May the Forest Be With You, Always!”
The posters were submitted to our local Texas State Soil and Water Conservation district for judging.

This is a reprint of the 1936 book which was published by the Highland Hereford Breeders Association. It includes many photographs of area ranches.
