NEMI Family Resource Center We are a local non-profit organization that began in 1958. We provide foster care & adoption services For more information please call us at 989-356-4567.

We license foster homes, provide foster care case management, & adoption services in 11 counties. We offer free no obligation orientation to anyone that is interested in becoming a foster home or adoptive home. Our Day One prevention program offers help to families in their homes. The services provided education & helps to strengthen families. This program is voluntary & available for prenatal to

Compass North meets homeless or runaway youth where they are at. The services provided to youth are life skills, host homes, and resources to promote independence. 🌟 Join Us for the Spreading HOPE Workshop! 🌟

What if we focused not only on what can go wrong in childhood—but also on what helps children thrive?

The Spreading HOPE Workshop introduces participants to the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) Framework and explores how positive childhood experiences can promote resilience, healthy development, and long-term well-being.

This interactive training is designed for educators, childcare providers, social workers, healthcare professionals, community partners, parents, and caregivers who want to better understand the impact of both adverse and positive experiences in a child's life.

Did you know that over 6 million men experience depression each year, yet many never seek support because of stigma?

Mental health struggles can affect anyone — fathers, brothers, sons, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Checking in, listening, and encouraging support can make a bigger difference than you realize. 🫶

This month, let’s continue breaking the stigma and reminding the men in our lives that it’s okay to talk, ask for help, and prioritize their mental health. 💪
