The Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary Board is looking for an Alpena City resident to be an enthusiastic member to fill a current vacancy.
The Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary Board advises the City Council on environmental stewardship and maintenance of over 450 acres within the Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary and Island Park.
The board is looking for persons that can be responsible to perform any of the following tasks: habitat restoration, event/activity planning, administration and environmental educational programming.
The Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary Board is a volunteer board with a three-year term. Applications are available online, in downloadable format (City of Alpena website > Government > City Boards > Wildlife Sanctuary Board), or in-person at City Hall. Completed applications should be returned to the Human Resources Director at Alpena City Hall.
