Alma Public Schools, located in Harlan County of Nebraska covers 180.5 square miles. Alma Public Schools' enrollment has approximate enrollment: 285 students, 2 administrators, 30 teachers, and 17 staff. It is a Class III, Type K-12 district accredited by the State of Nebraska under the direction of 6 board members. Vocational courses offered in the high school include business, vocational agricul

ture, and family and consumer science. Adult education programs are available in the high school in cooperation with the Central Community College, Hastings campus. The high school curriculum offers a solid college prep selection of classes which are taught by a very experienced staff. A variety of extra curricular programs are provided for students as well as strong drama, band and vocal programs. Alma Public School is a One-to-One school and all students are issued school owned Apple laptop computers fro grades K-12. The students grades 7-12 are allowed 24/7 access to those machines.

Attention local student athletes & parents!

HCHS Physical Therapist, Marisa Gulizia, will be putting on another Athletic Edge Camp this summer! This is open to ALL incoming 7th-12th graders and will take place June 1st-5th.

Take advantage of the amazing camp and learn some awesome skills to help with next year's sports seasons for $100/athlete!

Lydia Sikes was honored today by the Salvation Army as one of 19 students chosen for the DJ’s Hero Award. Nominated by Mrs. Biskup for her resilience and tenacity, she has overcome many obstacles to become an achiever with high aspirations. The ceremony was attended by over 1,000 people where Shilo Harris, a Purple Heart recipient and inspirational speaker, gave the keynote address. We are proud of this recognition for Lydia and excited to see what she can accomplish in her future.
