Hampton Community Library is a full-service ACLA public library offering more than 28,000 volumes, including your choice of magazines and newspaper publications, audiobooks, and DVDs. Since we opened our doors in 1990, we have strived to be an exceptional resource to our community. Designed for kids ages 6-10, this action-packed program takes you on a new adventure each week! Hands-on activities, crafts, games, stories and more. Registration is appreciated the week prior to the program.

Hampton Community Library cordially invites you (plus one stuffie) to a birthday celebration for our beloved stuffed Library Cat, Evelyn Dianna Sugar-Paws on Tuesday, June 23 at 2:00pm or Thursday, June 25 at 10:30am. We will read stories, sing songs and hear from Evelyn's famous feline friends. In lieu of gifts, Ms. Sugar-Paws requests that each guest bring a can of cat food to be donated to the animal shelter. Fancy dress is appreciated.

Unearth a Story at Hampton Community Library's Summer Reading Program!
Grab your shovel and your library card! Babies, children, teens and adults are encouraged to Unearth a Story and discover the treasures waiting inside books! From ancient dinosaurs to daring pirates, magical dragons to modern heroes, every page you turn will reveal something new.

Dig into books, ebooks, audiobooks and more to unearth prizes. Read a lot, read a little, read together or read alone, read one big book or read lots of little ones, read any format or any style...it all counts!

Summer Reading Program begins June 1st and ends Saturday, August 8th. Register at the Library.

Children (birth - entering 5th grade): Get a reading chart and start reading. Return each week to receive 2 raffle tickets.
Middle School (entering 6th - 8th grade): We have prizes just for your! Earn one raffle ticket for each book you read.
Young Adults (entering 9th grade +) and Adults: Earn one raffle ticket for every book you read---it’s that simple!
You don’t have to live in Hampton Township or hold a Community Center Membership to participate in library programs.
