When our volunteers knock on the door, it’s about much more than meals 🏡

Each visit allows them to check in on our clients’ well-being, noticing any changes or concerns and offering support when needed. For homebound seniors and adults with disabilities, these visits provide reassurance, connection, and a sense of safety.

Our volunteers are trained to observe and act when necessary, helping ensure clients get the help they need. Each delivery brings care, comfort, and peace of mind, not just for our clients, but for their entire households, including beloved pets.

After facing personal loss and searching for a deeper purpose, Steve found his way to MOWGLV. What began as volunteering a few days a week quickly turned into a daily commitment to supporting homebound seniors and adults with disabilities across our community.

What a special afternoon spent celebrating the people who help make our mission possible 💙

Recently, hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Event, welcoming both familiar and new faces into our office for connection, conversation, and a behind-the-scenes look at our facility.

It was wonderful having volunteers spend time together and connect with Melanie Kohler as she continues learning more about the incredible community behind MOWGLV 🤝
