As the Jewish community celebrates Rosh Hashanah, we extend our wishes for a sweet New Year filled with peace, hope, good health and moments of connection. At EverTrue Luther Crest, we are grateful for the many faith traditions represented within our community and for the opportunity to honor each person's spiritual journey.

Last week, we celebrated our incredible employees with a picnic like no other!🎉

There was music delicious food, special T-shirts for everyone, and more than 85 raffle baskets for our team members to enter to win with tickets given to each of them. There was plenty of fun, laughter and smiles all around.💙

But this year, we had even more to celebrate! Along with honoring iour amazing employees, we proudly celebrated achieving a 5-STAR, Deficiency-Free Survey!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Back-to-school season isn't just for students. 📖 It's the perfect time to learn something new about EverTrue!

We're opening the books on some of the meaningful numbers that make our mission possible. From the people we serve to the lives we touch, here are a few interesting facts and figures about EverTrue that might surprise you:

📍 We operate in three states: Missouri, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
👥 We serve approximately 16,500 individuals each year (~ 5,000 Life Plan Communities residents, ~ 1,000 Affordable Housing residents, ~ 9,000 individuals cared for by Anywhere Care).
🍽️ We serve 289,000 meals monthly.
🤝 EverTrue has 3,900 team members — And more than 200 team members have been with EverTrue longer than 15 years! 🏆
💯 More than 70 of our residents are over the age of 100!

Shannon Kidd, EverTrue's Vice President of Operations Life Plan Communities - East, has been recognized on the LVB300 List by Lehigh Valley Business. Shannon has been part of the EverTrue team since 2024 and oversees our communities in Pennsylvania — which includes 675 residents!

With over 20 years in aging services, she understands what makes a great resident experience and what team members need to be successful. “Success is a team effort. I strive to be a hands-on, approachable leader who listens, supports and works collaboratively to achieve shared goals,” said Shannon. "After all, the work we do has a direct impact on people’s lives.”

Each August 7th, Americans honor the men and women who were wounded or killed in combat while serving our nation as part of Purple Heart Day. This day is special for many members of our EverTrue communities, veterans who carry their own stories of courage and sacrifice to our country.

Veterans like:
🎖️EverTrue resident Robert Schuller, who was a Marine Corps Sergeant (Kilo Company 26) and served in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart in 1968.
🎖️EverTrue resident Merle Freitag, who was in the Army for 32 years, retiring as Lieutenant General. He served the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart during service in the Vietnam War.
🎖️EverTrue Care Center client, Paul David McAlister, who was awarded the Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War. He served in the Army, retiring as Sergeant.

Many of EverTrue’s communities have specialty groups for our veterans, encouraging them to share their stories and support while looking for new ways to live life to the fullest. Our thanks to all who committed to military service, risking their lives for our freedoms.
