Great news for democracy! The Court has maintained, through an appeal, that the US Postal Service (USPS) does not have the right and authority to be involved with decision-making with mail-in ballots! Their only job is to deliver them to county voter offices! This is a win for democracy!

There is a lot of noise surrounding this election. Unfortunately some are trying to make you think mail-in balloting is unsafe, or even going to the polls may be unsafe. Our elections are protected from many angles: by the Constitution, by the administration in each of our counties, by a very capable Department of State and right down to our well-trained poll workers who are there to make sure your vote is safe, and protected. Vote with confidence, not with fear! Don't let chaos and fear stop you from voting this November!

www.powerthepolls.org/lwv and sign up. Your info will be sent right to your home county and you will be contacted. If you are bi-lingual, you can be a big help. Even high school kids can do this job and the pay is pretty good. If you're 18, not a problem; if you are 17, you need your parents to sign for you. Go ahead and help support democracy!
